January 18 - 25, 2026 is the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. Ecumenical prayer events are being hosted all over Halifax to support this week of prayer and healing.

The Parish Conferences of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul have a variety of Christmas Projects you can support this year to help those in need in our community.

Everyone is welcome on Saturday, December 20 from 5pm - 7pm in St. Stephen's Park for a Living Nativity celebration being hosted by the Franciscans of Halifax.

Nov. 16 is World Day of the Poor, an opportunity to recognize those experiencing poverty and the ways we can do what we can for those in need.
