Our Parish

Our Mission

To support and strengthen our faith community, creating the opportunity to deepen our relationship with God in Jesus Christ and to build up our spiritual communion as disciples, brothers and sisters in Christ.

On this foundation, we hope to provide a welcoming environment for everyone who seeks the peace and love that comes from those relationships, and to reach out to everyone who needs to hear the message of the Gospel, through evangelization and charity.

Parish Vision Prayer

Heavenly Father, we the parishioners of St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi Parish call upon you to guide, strengthen and support us as we move forward, united in pursuit of our shared vision. Help us always to be a welcoming community of Jesus' disciples who journey together in right Faith and certain Hope and live out His Love in word and deed.
May your Holy Spirit kindle in our hearts and illuminate our path as we strive to achieve this vision for our Parish. We make this prayer through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Message from Fr. Nathanael & Fr. Peter

A Pastoral Letter to our Parish in Ordinary Times

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As we journey through Ordinary Time, the Church invites us into a season that is anything but ordinary. The green vestments remind us of growth, life, and perseverance. This is time to deepen our relationship with God, strengthen our faith, and allow the Holy Spirit to continue the work of conversion within our hearts.

Conversion is not a single moment but a lifelong journey. Even after we have encountered Christ, He continually calls us to turn away from sin and draw closer to Him. Every day presents a new opportunity to surrender our lives more fully to God’s will. The saints remind us that holiness is achieved not through extraordinary deeds alone but through daily fidelity to God in the ordinary circumstances of life.

At the heart of this conversion is prayer. Prayer is not merely saying words; it is entering into a living relationship with the Lord. Through prayer, we listen to His voice, receive His grace and discover His presence in every aspect of our lives. A parish that prays is a parish that grows in faith, charity and unity.

We encourage every member of our parish to renew their commitment to prayer. Set aside time each day for silence before God. Read and meditate upon Sacred Scripture. Pray the Holy Rosary. Spend time before the Blessed Sacrament whenever possible. Participate fully in Sunday Mass and seek the Sacrament of Reconciliation regularly. These simple practices open our hearts to the transforming grace of Christ.

Our world often distracts us with noise, busyness and anxiety. Jesus continues to say, “Come to me”. He desires to heal our wounds, strengthen our weaknesses, and fill us with His peace. When we place prayer at the centre of our lives, we discover anew the joy of being His disciples. May this season of Ordinary Time become a season of extraordinary grace for our parish. Let us encourage one another in faith, support one another in charity, and walk together on the path of holiness.

May the Blessed Virgin Mother of the Church, intercede for us and lead us ever closer to her Son.

With prayerful and fraternal blessings,

Yours in Christ,

Fr. Nathanael and Fr. Peter
