Our parish is named after St. Francis of Assisi and St. Clare of Assisi, two very significant saints in the Catholic Church, both of them deeply and passionately in love with Jesus Christ, and wholeheartedly concerned for the salvation of souls. 

 

Our patron saints embodied qualities of faith that our parish seeks to uphold as values;

​​ 

• Love for Jesus Christ, Who is the Incarnate Word, and the Eucharist – burning of passionate love for our Lord Jesus Christ, especially and really present in the Blessed Sacrament, which is the only way we can see, touch, kiss and savor Him here on earth.

 

• Love for the Church – recognizing in her the Body of Christ, into Whose arms we desire to be held, and Whose wounds we desire to clean and heal.

• Trust in God’s Providence – abandoning ourselves into the hands of our loving Father, Who always provides for His children, and taking responsibility for the resources we have been given, seeing as good stewards they are used for the benefit of all. 
   

• Fraternity - welcoming and supporting anyone as they were brothers or sisters.
   

• Compassion - being examples of God's unconditional love in the world and bringing care and support to all those who are in need. 
   

• ​Contemplative gaze on God’s Creation – looking in awe at the gift of Creation where we can grasp God’s Presence, and that we want to preserve in its beauty.
