Giving from the Heart – A Joyful Response to God’s Blessings

Have you ever experienced the joy of giving?

Whether it was a gift to a loved one, time spent helping someone in need, or a financial

contribution to a cause close to your heart?

There is something deeply fulfilling about generosity because it reflects God’s own heart

and love for us.

Jesus teaches us that everything we have is a gift from God. When we give joyfully, we acknowledge that our security comes from Him, not from material possessions. Giving is not just about money, it is an expression of faith and trust in God’s abundant provision.

Over these next three weeks, we will explore Joyful Giving, a call to put God at the center of our lives by sharing our blessings. We acknowledge with gratitude the gifts that have been passed down to us from those in the parish who have gone before us.

We desire to build upon that legacy and build a parish that is physically, spiritually and financially sustainable. Next Sunday, you’ll receive a Joyful Giving Pledge Form to help you reflect on how you might respond to God’s generosity.

Take time this week to pray about what giving means to you. What gifts, financial or otherwise, has God given you that you can share with joyful gratitude?
